Shipping & Delivery
So Chic Gifts Inc. ships by Canada Post, UPS, FedEx or other carriers to your door. Most orders will ship out within two to four business days from the date your order was placed. After placing an order, you will receive an order summary to your e-mail address. Please note that some items will not be in stock and will have to be special ordered which may take a few weeks. For special order items, back ordered items, or items with delivery lead time, we will advice you for estimated delivery time. All of our prices are in Canadian dollars. Shipping InformationMost orders are shipped via Canada Post's XPressPost Service. Orders over $150 before taxes/shipping qualify for free standard ground shipping rates. International Orders:Please contact us pricing.*Oversized Product Exception – Some of our products are unusually large or heavy to ship and we will confirm an additional charge of min. $15.00 which will be added to your order. Custom FeesAll of our products are shipped within Canada so there are NO custom fees for our Canadian customers.Please note that merchandise exported out of the country to another country must clear customs and the recipient of the merchandise may have to pay duties on the item(s). We have no control over these charges. Some items below a certain value may not be charged any duties. Courier Delivery OptionCourier Delivery is available only to deliveries in the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, North York, Thornhill, Vaughan and Mississauga). Once your order is complete a courier will deliver your item(s) within 2 business days.
Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. Please provide us an actual street number and name. Additional surcharge may added shipping to Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Hawaii, Alaska and etc. We will inform you with addition charges on shipping. Aside from total amount calculated when you check out your order, some furniture and oversized merchandise are subject to additional shipping charges. We will contact you via phone or email for additional shipping charges. Delay is common for international deliveries due to customs clearance. International orders may be subject to duties and taxes imposed by the country of import. SO CHIC GIFTS INC. is not liable for such charges and fees. Please note that majority of freight shipments are curbside only delivery. Free shipping rule does not apply to sale items. It is important to inspect the shipment before you sign the waybill. Please take a moment to read following informaiton on receiving orders by freight. [*TRUCK FREIGHT] ReturnWe only accept returns or exchanges on lost, damaged or defective merchandise. Returns will be accepted within 14 days of delivery for refund or exchange. THERE ARE NO RETURNS or CANCELLATION ON PRE ORDERS, SPECIAL ORDERS [items with lead time (2-4 weeks, 8-12 weeks 16-20 weeks and etc. are considered as special orders], CUSTOM ORDERS, SALE ITEMS, GLASSWARE, DINNERWARE, CUTLERY and some items. These items are considered FINAL SALE. Return claims received after 14 days of delivery cannot be processed. Please be sure to inspect your merchandise upon arrival.Our inventory on some item is very small and has limited quantities. Therefore, returns on some of these items may not be valid. Please be sure to return your purchased items in its original packing materials with all merchandise tags and original sales receipt. We will gladly accept returns in any unwashed, unworn, unused, damaged or defective merchandise only. Items MUST BE returned in like-new condition with original packaging and materials. Before you send your package, please contact us to inform us of the return. IF YOU DON'T INFORM US IN ADVANCE, WE CANNOT ACCEPT THE RETURN. When you email us for return, please include: [returns] in subject + your order number + name + postal code of the billing address + reason for return ONLY after the return claim has been processed with us, returns should be sent. We will not accept any returns without prior notice. Please be sure your package is fully insured and prepaid. Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs. We are not responsible for items that are lost during transit. Your refund will be credited back to the same card used to make the original purchases.
